New Features and Methods

New Product Card Field: Potential Dimension Difference Marker

A new field, isValid, has been added to the product card, indicating significant differences between the product’s dimensions and the average for its category. If the field returns false, it is recommended to double-check the dimensions in centimeters to avoid penalties. You can find this field in the dimensions array within the nomenclature list and trash endpoints.

Warehouse Factors Methods Changes

Effective from 15 July, the outdated field dtFromMin will be deprecated from the methods for retrieving tariffs related to boxes and pallets. This change is part of an ongoing effort to improve the accuracy of warehouse factors.

Support for OAuth2.0 for Authorized Services

OAuth2.0 support has been added for Wildberries authorized services, allowing third-party services to access seller data more securely. This simplifies the connection process by eliminating the need to create and transmit tokens manually.

Changes and Deprecations

Content API: Video Format Changes

From 1 August 2024, the video format returned by the video field in content-related endpoints will change from MP4 to M3U8 (HLS protocol). This change affects only the format in which videos are delivered; the video upload process remains the same.

Marketplace API: UIN Requirement for Jewelry Sellers

Starting from 12 August 2024, jewelry sellers operating under the Marketplace (FBS) model will be required to input UIN for their orders. Orders without UIN will not be processed for delivery.

That concludes the updates for July. Follow our digest for more updates and improvements to WB API.
