New Community Space for WB API Users

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new forum designed specifically for developers and sellers working with the WB API. This forum will serve as a unified platform for communication, sharing experiences, and finding solutions. Here, you can ask questions about integrating with the WB API, share successful automation cases, and receive support both from WB API experts and other community members.

Why the Forum is Needed

The forum has been created in response to community requests and aims to support WB API users. It’s equally beneficial for technical specialists and business representatives. Here’s how this new platform can help you:

For Developers

Developers get a convenient place to quickly share knowledge about the WB API. On the forum, you can discuss integration challenges, find recommendations on using WB API methods, and receive technical answers from fellow community members. Instead of navigating multiple platforms, now everything is consolidated into one place, speeding up problem-solving and encouraging fresh ideas for effective use of the WB API.

For Businesses

Business representatives will be able to find ready-made solutions and integrations for their needs on the forum. If your store requires a tool or service operating via the WB API, you can check the forum to see if ready integrations or partner solutions already exist. You can also directly ask developers about existing products—such as how to configure data exchange with your CMS or how to use analytical reports through the WB API. We hope the forum brings businesses and developers closer together, speeds up collaboration, and boosts your efficiency.

Key Forum Features

The new forum is equipped with all the necessary tools for convenient and productive communication. Below is an overview of the platform’s main features:

Main Page and Post Cards

On the forum’s main page, all recent posts are presented in user-friendly cards. Each card includes a title, short description, and essential metadata: author, publication date, and comment count. Visual indicators clearly show the category of each post and whether a solution has been found. This format allows you to quickly scan new topics and select the most interesting ones.

Sections: «My Posts» and «My Activity»

Special sections help you track your forum activity. Under «My Posts», you’ll find all topics you’ve created yourself. The «My Activity» section lists discussions you’ve commented on or responded to. You can easily check for new replies or ongoing conversations, especially useful if you’re awaiting answers or wish to keep discussions active.

Search, Filters, and Sorting

We’ve added a powerful search feature to help you quickly find the information you need. Simply enter keywords, like «FBO orders API,» and the system will display relevant topics. Additional filters and sorting options are also available. You can filter posts by categories (such as «Orders» or «Analytics») or by post type (question or discussion). The sorting order can be customized as well—by newest or most discussed posts. This combination of search and filters makes it easy to find answers quickly.

Commenting and Selecting a Solution

Every forum post represents a conversation that you can join via comments. Community members can answer questions, provide advice, and clarify details through commenting. The author of a topic has the option to select the best response as the solution. This selected solution is visually highlighted, allowing readers to immediately see which response helped the author. Additionally, the forum allows you to delete your own messages: if you created a post or comment and later decide it’s no longer relevant or needed.

How to Use the Forum

Getting started with the new WB API forum is very simple. Below is a brief guide on using its features:

  1. Authorization on the portal. We recommend logging into your account on the WB API portal. If you don’t have an account yet, create a profile (registration uses the phone number linked to your Wildberries account).
  2. Searching for information. Before creating a new topic, use the forum search. Enter keywords related to your question or navigate to the appropriate section. Your question may already have been answered in existing posts.
  3. Creating a new post. If no suitable topic exists, confidently click the «Start Discussion» button. Provide a title, select a relevant category and post type (e.g., «Question» or «Discussion»), and clearly describe your question or share your experience. Keep your post clear and concise—this helps others provide better assistance.
  4. Participating in discussions. Browse posts from other users—if you know the answer or can comment on a topic, join the conversation. Open the topic you’re interested in and leave your comment. Your contributions help the community grow and solve issues faster.
  5. Selecting a solution. When your question receives answers and one proves useful, mark that comment as the solution. Click the dedicated button next to the chosen answer. The highlighted solution helps other users with similar questions quickly find the right answer.
  6. Tracking your topics. Monitor your discussions. The «My Posts» section lists all your created topics and their status. «My Activity» shows discussions you’ve contributed to. Regularly check these sections to keep track of new replies or follow-up questions.

The new WB API community forum represents a step toward open dialogue and collaboration between developers, businesses, and the WB API team. Join us: ask questions, share knowledge, and help each other solve problems. Together, the WB API user community can implement new ideas faster, making integration with Wildberries even more successful. We look forward to seeing you on the forum!
