Launching a Family-Owned Cosmetic Brand
Anton, the founder of the family-run cosmetics store “Levosh”, started selling on Wildberries in April 2024. The store’s main products include foams, cleansers, and creams. For now, the business is small, and Anton and his wife handle all processes—packaging, managing ads, and everything in between—on their own.
Shortly after launching on the platform, Anton realized that manually managing ad campaigns and shipments was consuming too much time and required detailed data analysis. "Manual ad management on Wildberries would have been an overwhelming task, especially when experimenting with bids and keywords," says Anton.
Integrating WB API for Analytics and Automating Shipments and Review Management
Anton streamlined key tasks by integrating WB API, simplifying business management. He started with the Supply API, using it to plan shipments and analyze demand across regions. This enabled him to distribute products across warehouses effectively and reduce logistics costs. "The most convenient API feature is warehouse analytics. You know exactly how much and where to ship, and you don’t have to think about it anymore."
Later, Anton connected the Promotion API to manage advertising campaigns. "This service allowed me to track keywords and product rankings in real-time, manage ad bids, and reduce the time spent on advertising." With analytics, Anton could quickly identify ineffective keywords and optimize his ad budget. "With the analytics API, you see all the metrics for clicks, CTR, and ad spend instantly, without spending hours downloading and processing reports."
The API also simplified review management. "We receive dozens of reviews daily, many of which are repetitive. Manually responding to all of them would have been challenging. The API automated replies, leveraging templates and AI-based generation. This took a significant load off our shoulders."
The API allowed Anton to reduce the time spent managing ad campaigns to just a few minutes a day. He notes that real-time keyword and bid management made campaigns more effective: "Previously, managing ads would have taken hours. Now, I just check keywords and bids once in the morning and once in the evening."
Using the Supply API, Anton plans shipments automatically based on demand and optimally distributes products across warehouses: "The API services suggest which products to ship and in what quantities. We no longer waste time experimenting with logistics, and our delivery costs have decreased."
Automated replies relieved Anton of most routine tasks. Now he and his wife can focus on other important aspects of the business instead of manually handling reviews: "We used to spend hours every day responding to dozens of reviews. Now, it’s all automated, allowing us to dedicate more time to growing the business."
“API integration not only helped us save time on routine tasks but also gave us confidence that we’re in control of every aspect of our business. It was a crucial step for the growth of our brand, and scaling up would have been much harder without this solution.”
As Levosh continues to grow, Anton plans to expand the use of APIs to cover even more areas of the business. He’s exploring advanced analytics for sales prediction, customer segmentation, and inventory forecasting. Additionally, Anton is considering integrating a chatbot powered by the Wildberries API to enhance customer support and provide faster responses to buyer queries.
"The Wildberries API opened up new opportunities for us. It’s not just about automation; it’s about making smarter, faster, and more confident decisions for our business. We're excited to see where these tools take us in the future."
